Quality Control and Metrology for Product Compliance

In Nuova Framar, quality die casting riser and metrology operations play a fundamental role in ensuring the full satisfaction of the highest technical and qualitative requirements of each product, allowing us to be a reliable and qualified partner.

Quality control is managed through a combination of inline or offline automated control islands and direct intervention by highly skilled personnel. The company also turns to external laboratories certified for the most specific and complex quality controls, all in order to ensure the compliance of each part, from the simplest to the most complex.

Metrology deals with the measurement and verification of the dimensions and characteristics of die-cast components, in order to ensure compliance with the requirements and technical specifications required by customers. Thanks to metrology, it is possible to carry out accurate checks on parts, identify any defects or dimensional deviations and take prompt action to correct them. Being equipped in-house with the metrology department also guarantees the customer a fast and efficient service in the initial phase of approval of the parts and in subsequent checks, necessary if changes are required compared to the initial design.

In particular, before starting the actual production, we can carry out a series of checks on the first sample of the part, so as to be sure that it complies with the requirements and technical specifications required:

• internal porosity verification and analysis with X-ray systems

• metrological control with optical and contact CMM machines
• surface defectology control by magnifier
